Hill and Campau

Just read a review of the new album by James Hill and Don Campau "The Only Way To Fly" . Nice to see someone from the 80s/90s cassette scene getting some critical attention! It seems fairly rare these days. Actually, it was rare in those days too! I'm speaking of Don Campau here since I don't know much about James Hill , other than his excellent trumpetry on this album (I don't think "trumpetry" is a word but, why not). Campau has been putting out highly eclectic and consistently interesting music, largely under the radar, for decades. I almost said "toiling in obscurity" but that's not right. Don is well-known within the cassette culture scene but he, like many dedicated "home-tapers", deserves to be better known outside of that scene. Anyway, I won't review "The Only Way To Fly" here.
