Études de l'oeuvre de Christian Renou en Brume


 

I have a track (as Songs of the New Erotics) on "Études de l'oeuvre de Christian Renou en Brume," a great new comp from Institute For Alien Research. The album is a tribute of sorts to the music of Brume/Christian Renou. Christian Renou is one of my favourite artists and I've been a fan of his music for several decades. I had a lot of fun putting this track together (which includes a few samples from some of my favourite Brume albums). Enjoy!

  Hi there! I'm W.A.Davison, experimental musician and artist ( www.recordism.com ). I have run numerous blogs in the past, my main one being The Organ Grinder's Gazette where I post about the activities of The Recordists (W.A.Davison and S.Higgins). irr. app. (ext.) + The Recordists

The current irr. app. (ext.) monthly digital single series sees our friend Matt Waldron resurrecting material from the long-defunct Nine Day Antler Society . I wrote about it back in March of this year and you can read that post here . The October edition of the series features a collaboration between irr. app. (ext.) and The Recordists . This is an odd one as The Recordists ( W.A.Davison and S.Higgins ) did not contribute any actual sounds to the recordings.
